Copyright & DMCA

Last updated

LettersFonts is a community library: the fonts here are uploaded by our members. We respect the rights of type designers and foundries, and we respond promptly to properly submitted copyright complaints. If a font on this site infringes your rights, here is how to have it removed.

Our policy

We do not create or sell the fonts in this library — members upload them and are responsible for having the right to share what they post. When we receive a valid notice that a file infringes someone's copyright, we remove or disable access to that file expeditiously.

We also maintain a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material may be suspended or terminated.

How to file a takedown notice

If you are the copyright owner (or authorised to act for one) and believe a font here infringes your rights, send a written notice to info@lettersfonts.com that includes all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) of the font page or file on LettersFonts so we can locate it.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. Please note that knowingly making a material misrepresentation may expose you to liability.

Designated contact

Send all copyright notices to info@lettersfonts.com, with “Copyright Notice” in the subject line. This is the designated address for LettersFonts (https://lettersfonts.com).

Counter-notice

If your upload was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your contact details and consent to jurisdiction.

We may restore the material if the original complainant does not pursue the matter further within a reasonable period.
